The setup I was testing is Resolve 15 on Window 10 with 16G ram and a 1050ti card with 4G of VRam and a RME RayDat audio card linked to a Yamaha 02r96 mixing desk. Is ASIO going to be implemented in this Beta cycle as I can't see Fairlight being must use for recording without it? With using ASIO it has less impact on the computer system's resources and also the input signals sound gets monitored through the audio card when recording bypassing the computer and allowing for monitoring with almost zero latency. Strangely on playback the recording isn't crackly, so only on record monitoring this is happening.Ī solution for this would be to implement the ability to allow the use of the ASIO driver, something I feel all professional software and audio cards should have and be using. The problem I am having with using the "Use System Setting" is the high latency and hearing a crackly audio signal when (auto) monitoring a track. The only way I have found to be able to record audio on a track is if I use the settings option of "Use System Setting" instead of my audio cards port. I am using a RME RayDat audio card and I can set the Main outputs to any of the cards 32 ports but I can't get an input signal even though the Fairlight mixer is showing that the input is routed on the track's input slot.

I haven't not so far used Resolve 14 to record as I have only been mixing but now Resolve 15 has ADR I thought it was now the time to set it up properly ready to run some ADR testing. I am in a very similar situation to corestudios but in reverse. I understand that this is currently a Public Beta version, but some research showed that other Apollo-running users had posted a similar issue on Resolve 14 so it appears to have never been addressed.Ĭan you offer some insight for how to resolve this or some assurances that this is being worked on and will be fixed once the full version is released? This is a deal breaker situation for me and will force me to keep editing on Premiere Pro (which doesn't present any technical issues with the Apollo interface). The audio will now work, but I don't have any controls over which channels on my interface to feed those outputs to which is a problem. The only way to get it working is to switch the Speaker Configuration to "Use System Setting". It does recognize the hardware but when I try to customize the channel outputs, the audio outputs don't work. In Resolve 15, however, I am having problems with this. I have multiple software packages that recognize the audio hardware with no problem and allow me to configure audio channel outputs as needed. My audio interface for my computer is an Apollo interface from Universal Audio. So far I love the software but am having one major problem.

I'm a long time editing with Premiere Pro and recently starting to explore Resolve to consider switching platforms.
